On Sunday, July 14, the Philadelphia sports community celebrated one of its biggest stars for his official retirement from baseball. Ryan Howard’s dedication to the city has been consistent throughout his career as a Phillies slugger, as well as through his current roles as a Partner at SeventySix Capital and baseball analyst on ESPN.
Ryan’s Phillies Retirement Ceremony took place before the team’s sold out game against the Washington Nationals. A press conference was held beforehand, after which he delivered a heartfelt speech to the fans and the community. The Phillies took the win, 4-3 with a walk off home run.
