6/16/20

Hyland Levin Shapiro LLP is pleased to announce the commencement of its 2020 summer associate program with the hiring of Jenise Rivera and Kaitlin Hackett. During the summer, notwithstanding the extraordinary and unusual circumstances of practicing law during a global pandemic, both women will participate in all facets of firm life.

Kaitlin and Jenise join us for the summer from Rutgers Law School where they are rising third year law students. In addition to serving as staff editors on law review journals at Rutgers, both women are actively involved in the law school community. Jenise is the president of the Latinx Law Student’s Association and Secretary of the Rutgers Intellectual Property Law Association. Kaitlin is the President of the Health Law Society and a student leader with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.

“Against the backdrop of a challenging time, we are thrilled to be able to host two exceptional law students this summer. They will be exposed to a new way of practicing law and learn from early on the importance of flexibility and adaptability,” said Julie Murphy, who will coordinate the mix of in-person and remote training and programming.

Hyland Levin Shapiro LLP is a multi-practice law firm founded in 2009, with a business oriented and results driven approach to the practice of law. Our practice areas include Business, Real Estate, Litigation and Succession Planning, Trust and Estates.
