A recent Burning Glass Technologies Labor Insight report revealed that in 2018, there were 10,000 local cybersecurity roles that needed filling — a 127% increase over the last five years, according to Rita McGlone, executive director of professional and organizational development at the University of Pennsylvania.

A few weeks ago, the university announced it was accepting applications for its 24-week cybersecurity bootcamp for those working in the digital sphere. And a June report from Robert Half Technology showed that the number one skill employers are demanding is cloud security/cybersecurity expertise
