Victoria Friedrich and Monica Babula

Pashman Stein Walder Hayden has announced that Victoria (“Torie”) Friedrich and Monica Babula have joined the firm as associates in the Trusts & Estates and Elder Law Group.

Joseph L. Goldman, head of the Trusts & Estates group at Pashman Stein said, “We are delighted to have Torie and Monica join our team. We are excited for them to assist with our Trust & Estate planning and administration, and business succession planning matters, together with Naomi Becker Collier who heads our rapidly expanding Elder Law and Special Needs Planning practice group."

Friedrich handles all aspects of estate administration including probate and administration practice, asset marshaling, debt negotiation, asset valuation, preparation of federal and state estate tax returns, and informal settlement of estates. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from Pace University School of Law, and her B.S. from Rutgers University in Newark. During law school, Friedrich interned at the Bergen County Surrogates Court and the Law Offices of Bart A. Chase, and served as a law clerk at the Law Offices of Edward M. Eustace. Prior to joining Pashman Stein, Friedrich was an associate with Joseph H. Gruner, P.C.

Babula earned her J.D. from Seton Hall School of Law and her B.A. from The College of New Jersey. During law school, she interned for the Hon. Rosemary Gambardella, United States Bankruptcy Court, and for the Hudson County Surrogate’s Office. Following law school, Babula clerked for the Hon. Marybeth Rogers and the Hon. Barry P. Sarkisian, Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, General Equity Part. Prior to joining Pashman Stein, Babula served as an attorney with the Hudson County Surrogate’s Office.
