Luxury Apartments in the Completely Renovated and Reimagined Historic Factory Building Now Available for Immediate Occupancy

On Sunday, September 16, The Residences at Edison Lofts in Edison Village will host an Open House from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Prospective residents are invited to attend to experience the modern homes and amenity-filled living within Prism Capital Partners’ redevelopment of the historic Thomas Edison Invention Factory and Commerce Center in West Orange, N.J. Spacious apartments are now available for immediate occupancy in the completely renovated and reimagined 100-year-old factory building, which boasts 300 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom homes.

At the Open House, the leasing team will meet with prospective residents, give presentations and tours of the modern homes – including fully furnished and decorated models – and share information about the abundant amenities at Edison Village.

The market-rate residences at Edison Lofts range from 590 to 1,500 square feet and include 20 penthouse duplex homes to be released later this year. The design, by Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners, takes advantage of the myriad of existing architectural features of the historic factory, including incorporating 14- to 16-foot ceiling heights and 10-foot replica replacement windows to let in abundant natural light. Boasting spacious layouts, the homes feature designer kitchens with stainless steel appliances and luxury bathrooms. Starting prices for studios, one-, two-, and three-bedrooms range from $1,625 to $4,500.

Edison Village represents the largest non-waterfront adaptive-reuse project in New Jersey, encompassing 21 acres on Main Street in the heart of West Orange Township’s Downtown Redevelopment. Phase I has involved the total reconstruction of the historic factory complex as well as the development of 18,400 square feet of retail, a supporting 630-space parking structure, and The Mews, a boutique collection of 34 one- and two-bedroom new construction homes, with one remaining unit to be leased.

Residents of Edison Village will have access to a vast range of amenities, including a 5,000-square-foot private fitness center with sauna, indoor swimming pool, personal and bike storage, a media/screening room, business center, private dining room, storage components, doorman and concierge service. The property also features a 12,000-square-foot rooftop indoor/outdoor lounge with 360-degree unobstructed views of the surrounding area and the Manhattan skyline, park-like green spaces and landscaped grounds as well as covered parking and a dog washing station. Shuttle service will be available to and from the Orange Train Station for commuting to Manhattan. Ideally situated in downtown West Orange, Edison Village is near Bloomfield and Montclair.
