At a family vacation two years ago, software developer Hussain Rangwalakept fumbling with an awkwardly-designed GPS stand for his phone, having to mount it and dismount it from a rental car just to take pictures.

A self-professed “maker at heart,” Rangwala sought to find a more versatile way to interact with his phone, which he uses for “basically everything these days,” including videoconferencing. When no suitable options were found in the market, he took matters into his own hands and created the Uboh: a portable five-in-one stand for tablets and mobile phones.

The pocket-sized accessory serves as a car mount, tripod stand and a magnetic holder. It comes with a “nano suction cup” and allows users to adjust their devices in multiple angles.
