Gone are the days when Emojibator cofounder Joe Vela would use a pseudonym to promote his company’s flagship product, an eggplant-emoji-shaped vibrator.

Two years after the launch of the product, you can find Vela donning a banana costume and asking strangers on the streets of Brooklyn about masturbation, booty calls and their most awkward sexual experiences.

For World Emoji Day (it’s a thing), the Fishtown-based company released the first episode of Sex With Strangers, a web video campaign where Vela and cofounder Kris Fretz interview random people about their sexual habits.
