Sports Tech And Betting Take Center Stage At Upcoming Conference

With the massive rise in popularity that esports has enjoyed in recent years, and last month’s legalization of sports betting by the U.S. Supreme Court, the intersection of tech and sports is a space that’s ripe for growth.

Conshohocken VC firm SeventySix Capital, which last year raised $10 million for a fund aimed at the sports-tech arena, certainly feels that way. On June 26, together with the Global Sport Institute at Arizona State University, Wayne Kimmel’s firm is bringing a dozen industry insiders to Philly’s Prince Theater for a discussion on “the future of sports tech and sports betting.”

Speakers for the event include former Phillies slugger and SeventySix Capital partner Ryan Howard, N3rd Street Gamers cofounder Rob Hilsky and SiriusXM NFL host Adam Caplan.
