CBRE announced today the hiring of three investment sales professionals, further enhancing the firm’s prominent Investment Properties Group. Steve Mariani, Manveer “Manny” Sanghera and Trevor Fiebel will work closely with Nat Gambuzza, a senior vice president who leads New Jersey’s CBRE Investment Properties Group, providing a depth of advisory and transaction services for income-generating properties.

Steve joined CBRE as a vice president and represents investors and sellers of commercial investment properties throughout the Tri-State region, with a focus on New Jersey. He has transaction experience with multiple asset types including office, industrial, retail, mixed-use and single occupier net-leased properties. Steve is a veteran of the real estate industry, having worked at another real estate investment firm and before that,operated Jersey Appraisal Group, a statewide real estate appraisal firm. He has held licenses as certified real estate appraiser, title insurance producer and registered securities representative; and is an active member of The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), The National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the New Jersey Apartment Association (NJAA).
A graduate of Penn State University, Manny joined as an associate and focuses on the sale of multifamily and mixed-use investment properties in Hudson County and Newark, New Jersey. In addition, through his work with developers in the Newark area, he brings expertise that helps maximize the values of his clients’ assets. Manny’s financial planning background and studies allow him to assist in tax and investment strategies that help his clients make the best decisions for their real estate investments.
Trevor specializes in the sale of multifamily and mixed-use properties in Union and Middlesex Counties, while also maintaining developer relationships in Newark, New Jersey. An associate with the firm, Trevor utilizes his creativity to help increase the marketing and exposure of his clients’ property listings.
The Investment Properties team has serviced high profile clients including private investors, partnerships, lenders and institutions of various net worth. The team has specialized expertise and excels in the most complex transactions, including portfolio sales, distressed property sales, note sales and time-sensitive 1031 tax exchange transactions. The team completed $56.6 million in multifamily sale transactions during the first quarter of 2018 alone and is on pace to surpass its 2017 levels by the end of the year. Among the team’s most noteworthy deals during the first quarter of 2018 was the $18.3-million sale of the 162-unit portfolio at 400 Neptune Blvd., 1819 Bangs Ave., and 400 Neptune Blvd. in Neptune, New Jersey; the $12.2-million sale of the 63-unit portfolio at 47 Union Street and 180 Orange Road in Montclair, New Jersey; and the $9.3-million sale of the 76-unit property at 216-220 Straight Street in Paterson, New Jersey.
