Jayshree Moorthy Honored as a 2018 Women's Business Enterprise Star by Women's Business Enterprise National Council

5/17/18

Jayshree Moorthy, CEO of Frontier Technologies, Inc., has been recognized as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) Star by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the nation’s largest certifier of women-owned businesses and leader in women’s business development. The WBE Star Award is the nation’s premier recognition for excellence among women-owned businesses, honoring 14 women from across the country who are leaders in their local business communities and respective fields.

Frontier Technologies is an innovative IT company that uses subject matter experts, artificial intelligence, and cutting-edge tech to help companies store, secure, and profit from their data. They design solutions that help their clients become the disruptors of their industries, rather than being disrupted.

“We are very proud of the 2018 WBE Stars,” says Pamela Prince-Eason, President and CEO of WBENC. “They are all outstanding leaders who have been instrumental in driving innovation and sustainable economic growth."

“Above all, WBENC is a community; consisting of our closest friends, business partners, clients, and the best leaders (who happen to be women) I’ve ever known,” said Moorthy. “When I founded Frontier Technologies, as a woman, minority, and immigrant, nobody expected me to succeed. After 30 years, I understand the philosophy that fueled me to never doubt myself. I will be forever grateful to receive this award, and I look forward to supporting women businesses.”

Moorthy was recognized for her business acumen, her inspiration to other women, and her active role at the helm of Frontier Technologies. She was selected for this national honor by WBENC PA-DE-sNJ, one of WBENC's 14 RPOs that process WBENC's world-class certification of WBEs, in addition to providing skills-building educational programs and business development opportunities in their respective regions.

The 2018 WBE Stars were honored during the 2018 WBENC Summit & Salute, a gathering of more than 1,500 entrepreneurs and business leaders that took place in Dallas, Texas.
