NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apple Leisure Group, a leading integrated travel company, today announced that Lynn Torrent will join the company as Executive Vice President and President of Distribution.
In this role, Ms. Torrent will report to John Hutchinson, President of Apple Leisure Group, and will be responsible for all aspects of Apple Leisure Group’s tour and destination management businesses, in addition to having corporate oversight over Human Resources and IT Product Development.
Ms. Torrent’s most recent position was Executive Vice President, Commercial Operations at Carnival Cruise Lines, where she led a team of over 2,000, and was responsible for all sales activities, ship deployment, revenue management, and guest services. She previously served as President of Costa Cruise Lines, North and Central America markets.
Ms. Torrent received her BS degree in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Long Island University and her MBA degree from Florida Atlantic University.
Ms. Torrent will begin in her new role immediately.
