Health Monitor Network Brings Three New Senior Executives to Its High-Performance Management Team

MONTVALE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Health Monitor Network, the leading direct-to-patient (DTP) engagement company in the United States, has added three new senior executives to its expanding management team: Howard Halligan, chief financial officer; Christopher O’Toole, senior vice president, sales, advocacy and alliances, and Robb DeFilippis, senior vice president, operations. These executive additions support aggressive growth plans for the company as well as its digital patient education products.

Howard Halligan has over 20 years of experience in launching and developing diverse businesses within the media and advertising industry, with proven success in executing business strategies and maximizing financial performance. Before joining Health Monitor Network, he served as chief financial officer and chief operating officer, North America at Trusted Media Brands. During his 16 years at Trusted Media Brands, Howard established the direct selling startup, Taste of Home Entertaining, Inc. and collaborated on the launch of Every Day with Rachael Ray, an Ad Age “Magazine Launch of the Year.” In addition, he negotiated the acquisition and sale of various business units while serving as CFO of several of the company’s divisions.

Christopher O’Toole provides over 30 years’ experience in the pharmaceuticals industry and service businesses. He has held senior management positions with medical-marketing consultancies, including President of a division of Quintiles, and Vice President of Marketing for the healthcare branch of Pearson PLC, a multinational publishing and education company. He was President of Avant Healthcare Communications and a member of the executive leadership team of its parent company, DWA Healthcare Communications Group. In 2006, Chris co-founded a business and product development consultancy, Nine-TZ Healthcare Ventures, that worked with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. He is an Executive Advisory Board Member of the Galien Foundation, an organization that fosters, recognizes, and rewards excellence in scientific innovation that improves the state of human health.

Robb DeFilippis brings 25 years of marketing operations and business excellence leadership to Health Monitor Network. He has led global design, production, development and operations teams creating award-winning work for consumer as well as pharma and wellness clients. Before joining Health Monitor Network, Robb’s executive leadership experience in Operations and Production included management roles in both Consumer and Healthcare Advertising Agencies. His most recent role was SVP, Executive Director of Operations and Production at Saatchi & Saatchi (Publicis Groupe). Prior experience also includes senior level operations positions at McCann Health (Interpublic), Grey Healthcare Group (WPP), Pointroll (Gannett), Deutsch, and others.
