Scott Kania has succeeded Raegan Moya-Jones as CEO of aden + anais, a company spokeswoman said in an email to Buyouts. Moya-Jones, who founded aden + anais, is no longer part of the company’s day-to-day, the message said. Swander Pace Capital acquired a majority of aden + anais, which is known for its muslin baby swaddles, in 2014, PitchBook said. Kania will continue to oversee aden + anais’ HR, operations/logistics, IT and the international regions; he will also be responsible for the overall direction and performance of the business, the spokeswoman said. The email confirms a March 20 report from Mergermarket, which said Moya-Jones didn’t agree with the direction of aden + anais’ business and was let go on March 14. Mergermarket is part of Acuris.
