Davison, Eastman, Muñoz, Lederman & Paone, P.A. is pleased to announce that Dennis M. Galvin has joined the firm as partner. He will be working in the Municipal and Real Estate & Land Use departments. Galvin is the second lateral to join the firm this year.

Galvin is a recognized leader in the fields of land use and local government law; he served as Chair of the Local Government Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association during 2011 and 2012, and is the current author of Local Government Law in the New Jersey Practice Series (volumes 34, 34A and 35). Currently, he serves as an Assistant Counsel to the New Jersey Planning Officials and as a Trustee of the Institute of Local Government Lawyers. He also represents a number of municipalities in various capacities including Fairfield, Hoboken, Summit, Somerville, Montclair and Point Pleasant Beach. He joins DEMLP from The Galvin Law Firm, where he was founding partner.

Galvin is a frequent speaker and author on zoning, local government law and ethics and regularly teaches on Planning and Zoning for Rutgers Continuing Studies Program, NJPO, NJAZPA, and ICLE. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and the US Court of Appeals, Third Circuit.

He received his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1986 and his B.A. from Montclair State University in 1980.
