Stradley Ronon Partner Catherine M. Ward was recently appointed to the board of directors of the Women’s Energy Network’s newly formed Philadelphia Chapter. Women’s Energy Network is an international organization of professional women who work to offer educational, networking and leadership opportunities to women professionals in the energy industry nationwide through luncheons, conferences, community initiatives, social events and mentoring programs. Ward will also serve as Board Secretary.

Ward is co-chair of Stradley Ronon’s environmental practice group and a member of the Energy Practice Group. Her practice involves helping clients understand issues which are at the intersection of science and law. Her focus is on simplifying complex issues and multi-disciplinary projects into workable components, and then creating the necessary framework to accomplish her clients’ goals. With experience as a chemist and environmental consultant, she brings a unique perspective to assist companies – who are navigating often conflicting legal scenarios – in identifying opportunities and advantages.
