Former managing partner and 14 year company veteran will oversee seven stores in the Philadelphia market

The Rose Group, a leading franchisee of Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar and Corner Bakery Cafe restaurants, recently promoted Todd Cummings to the position of area director of seven Applebee’s locations in the Philadelphia Market.  Cummings’ 14 years of growth through The Rose Group’s ranks allows him to lead from experience and further strengthens The Rose Group’s management team.

As an Area Director, Cummings is responsible for the overall direction of store operations for seven Applebee’s restaurants in the Philadelphia market.  Specifically he will guide the management teams in building sales, ensuring a top-level guest experience and overseeing finances.  Using his previous experience as a managing partner and training general manager, Cummings aims to maintain and grow restaurant quality and guest satisfaction through progressive training and supportive strategies.

Cummings, of Northeast Philadelphia, was hired in 2002 as a manager.  He quickly progressed to kitchen manager, then general manager and most recently held the position of managing partner.  Cummings was chosen to be the general manager of a training store for his ability to teach and lead teams.  His broad experience and insight enable him to help others learn and grow their own professional talents and skills.
