Samuel J. Arena Jr. and A. Nicole Stover
Stradley Ronon Partner Samuel J. Arena Jr. and Associate A. Nicole Stover co-authored a chapter in the Fourth Edition of Financial Institution Bonds, published by the American Bar Association. The chapter, titled “Insuring Agreement (B): On Premises Coverage,” provides analysis and commentary regarding the On Premises coverage found in the Surety & Fidelity Association of America’s Financial Institution Bond and the Insurance Services Office’s Financial Institution Crime Policy. The chapter discusses the historical development of On Premises coverage and coverage revisions over time in response to modern banking practices. Within this historical context, the chapter provides an analysis of significant judicial decisions interpreting On Premises coverage and relevant coverage exclusions.
Arena has concentrated his practice on insurance law and fidelity and surety law for more than 33 years, and he chairs Stradley Ronon’s Fidelity & Surety Practice Group. Arena and Stover represent insurance companies in complex coverage and related disputes in the areas of fidelity and surety law, directors and officers liability, commercial and general liability, health insurance claims and litigation, and personal lines. They have extensive experience representing insurance companies in bad-faith and extra-contractual liability claims and litigation.
