PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Frederick Lipman, President of the AACMI and a partner at Blank Rome LLP, announced today the election of two new members to the AACMI Board of Directors, namely Howard Carver and Frederick “Ted” C. Peters, II. Howard Carver is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Assurant (NYSE) and StoneMor Partners L.P. (NYSE) and is also a member of their respective audit committees. Frederick “Ted” Peters is a director and Chair of the audit committee of Paycom Software, Inc. (NYSE) and serves as Chairman and CEO of Bluestone Financial Institutions Group.

In addition to Messrs. Carver and Peters, other AACMI Board of Directors are: Allen Freedman, Patrick Gross, Patricia Oelrich and Mr. Lipman. Mr. Lipman announced the retirement of Richard W. Roedel from the AACMI Board of Directors. Mr. Roedel was one of the founders of the AACMI and has served with distinction since 2003. From 1999 to 2000, he was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the accounting firm of BDO Seidman LLP.

Mr. Lipman will be a featured presenter on two topics at the 10th Annual European GRC Summit, which will be held November 10-11, 2016, at the corporate offices of Grant Thornton in London, England. Mr. Lipman’s first presentation will be held on November 10 on “Is Your Compliance Policy Defective Because It Does Not Encourage Whistleblowers?”, and his second presentation will be held on November 11 on “Criminal and Civil Liability of Directors, Officers and Executives for Wrongdoing: The Yates Memo and Its World-Wide Application.”
