Robert (Bob) Farina
Kim Technologies (www.ask.kim), a next generation provider of software that applies artificial intelligence capabilities to knowledge automation, announced that Robert (Bob) Farina has joined the company as its Chief Executive Officer and has been appointed to its Board of Directors. Farina brings to the company a distinguished career and proven track record in building and growing industry leading software and services businesses.
Karl Chapman, Chairman of Kim's Board and CEO of Riverview Law, the company that is the lead investor in Kim Technologies, said: "We are absolutely delighted that Bob Farina has joined Kim as CEO. Farina is a highly experienced CEO of Private Equity and Venture Capital backed technology companies. Most recently he was the CEO of the J.K. Group, a global provider of software and services in support of corporate philanthropic programs that served over 6 million employees and processed over $1 billion in donations each year. Prior to J.K. Group he was CEO of CyberShift, a market leader in Workforce Management systems that, among other recognition, was a member of the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 list of the fastest growing technology companies in the United States. Both of those businesses were successfully acquired by private equity firms. Farina has also been named as a Finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the State of New Jersey three times during his career.
