Spring Valley Asset Management LLC is pleased to announce that Mr. Brian Zeitz recently joined the firm as Chief Technology Officer, responsible for the management and oversight of the firm's advanced technology infrastructure, including systems design, operational planning, disaster recovery/business contingency planning and cybersecurity. Prior to joining SVAM, Mr. Zeitz was Director of Technology at NuWave Investment Management LLC (2007 - 2016), performing similar responsibilities under the direction of Mr. Ryan during his tenure as a Principal of NuWave. Mr. Zeitz began his career as an Avionics Technician in the United States Navy (1988 - 1991), supporting sustained operations in the Red Sea and during Operation Desert Shield in the Gulf, aboard the nuclear aircraft carrier U.S.S. Dwight D. Eisenhower. Following his honorable discharge from the United States Navy, Mr. Zeitz was employed as a civilian contractor at the United States Naval Air Station in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, where he was responsible for maintaining the technological infrastructure and providing support services for the Navy's ASW (anti-submarine warfare) Flight & Tactical Simulator Systems (a position that required advanced national security clearance). Thereafter, Mr. Zeitz held various senior technology and network security positions at a number of private sector firms. Mr. Zeitz received a B.S. from Delaware Valley University, in Computer Information Systems Management, after earning a degree in Computer Engineering Technology from the CHI Institute.
