PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Turn-Key Health, a market leader in population health management for patients with complex care and life limiting illness, announces the expansion of its executive team to accommodate corporate growth. Terri Maxwell, Ph.D., APRN, formerly chief operating officer, will bring her clinical management expertise to the position of chief clinical officer. Cyndi Seiwert, a senior healthcare operator with two decades of experience in post-acute healthcare, has been appointed new chief operating officer. In addition, John W. Halsey, healthcare executive with 20+ years of experience driving revenue and developing marketing strategies, was named vice president, Business Development.
“This exceptional team represents experience and deep knowledge of hospice, palliative care and advanced illness management,” says Greer Myers, president, Turn-Key Health. "They all share our focus on delivering a population health solution that enables health plans and ACOs to improve the quality of care and outcomes for their members with advanced illnesses through collaboration with Turn-Key’s network of palliative care providers. This community network of providers are equipped with Turn-Key’s mobile platform that instructs and guides palliative clinicians on patient assessments, interventions and risk stratification. The result is improved quality, higher member satisfaction, and decreased expense for the member and payer.”
Seiwert brings expertise in skilled nursing from such organizations as Optum Palliative and Hospice Care as chief operating officer, and Covenant Care, where she served as vice president of Operations, overseeing strategic planning and overall business operations for skilled nursing facilities in the Midwest.
In addition to Chief Clinical Officer of Turn-Key, Maxwell serves as vice president, Clinical Education, Enclara Pharmacia, an affiliate of Turn-Key Health. Prior to joining Turn-Key, she served as vice president of Strategic Initiatives, Weatherbee Resources Inc. and the Hospice Education Network. She also served in a number of executive positions at Hospice Pharmacia and developed the Center for Palliative Care at Thomas Jefferson University.
Previously, Halsey served as a managing partner at AXON Strategy. He has also held business development and management leadership positions at Real Time Medicare Data, MDLIVE, Inc., and Teladoc.
“With a rapidly aging baby boomer generation, palliative care has become a growing priority across the healthcare continuum,” says Myers. “Turn-Key Health is committed to providing population health solutions to help healthcare organizations improve the quality of care provided to patients with life-limiting illnesses and reduce costs associated with the provision of non-beneficial, burdensome care.”
