Travel Goods Retailer to Occupy 3,900 Square Feet at Erie, Pa., Shopping Center
Locally based luggage and travel goods retailer Luggage Designers has leased 3,900 square feet at Liberty Center in Erie. The 229,000-square-foot shopping center is exclusively leased and managed by North Plainfield, N.J.-based Levin Management. Levin Leasing Representative Jordan Korris negotiated the long-term lease.
“Luggage Designers has outgrown its existing location, and we are pleased to be able to meet its larger space requirements at Liberty Center,” said Korris. “With its strong demographics and convenient location, Liberty Center is an excellent place for local and national retailers to do business. As we continue to expand and diversify the center’s tenant mix, Luggage Designers – with its unique line of customizable merchandise – will only add to Liberty Center’s appeal.”
Offering custom-printed luggage solutions, Luggage Designers sells a wide selection of name-brand luggage that customers can personalize with their own photos or designs. The store carries a range of merchandise including luggage, briefcases, duffels, laptop bags, handbags and wallets, backpacks, sport bags, custom luggage tags, travel accessories and more.
Situated near I-90 at the intersection of West 38th and Liberty streets, just off of Peach Street, Liberty Center is located in the residential heart of Erie. The center serves a growing population of more than 160,000 people within a five-mile radius. Anchored by supermarket chain Tops Friendly Markets and Peebles department store, Liberty Center’s co-tenancy includes Harbor Freight Tools, Dollar Tree, Fred’s Furniture, Rent-A-Center, Payless ShoeSource, H&R Block, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit and GNC, among others.
Several prime retail spaces currently are available at Liberty Center, ranging from 2,800 square feet to up to 14,000 square feet. A 5,800-square-foot end cap with pylon signage on Peach Street also is available.
