HARRISBURG, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The board of directors of Penn National Insurance has elected Jacquelyn Anderson, CPA, CIA, to the position of senior vice president, CFO and treasurer. Prior to her election, Anderson had been serving as the company’s director of Internal Audit, and she had served as interim CFO following the retirement of prior-CFO Gregory Stine, in June.
She holds a B.S. degree in professional accountancy from The Pennsylvania State University. She was honored by the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants in that organization's 40 Under 40 award program, and actively volunteers in leadership positions in the Harrisburg, Pa. community and with her church.
Penn National Insurance’s president and CEO, Christine Sears, said: “To her new position, Jackie brings valuable operational knowledge of our company, gained during her leadership of Internal Audit, and extensive financial experience from her work in accounting, with a focus on property-casualty insurance. Before joining our company, she had worked as a CPA for Brown, Schultz, Sheridan and Fritz, in Camp Hill, Pa., auditing property-casualty insurance companies and overseeing a staff of 10 auditors. She joins our senior executive team with the benefit of having worked very closely and effectively with executive team members over the years.”
Anderson's election follows the July 25 resignation of CFO Lyle Rhodebeck, who returned to his family home in Ohio, to deal with a family circumstance.
