7/19/16

Cope Linder Architects Project Manager Danton C. Spina, RA, has passed all parts of the NCARB Architectural Registration Exam and is now a registered architect in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

“Danton excels at conceptualizing architectural projects, communicating design ideas to clients, and building consensus,” said Cope Linder Principal Cheryl A. Smith, AIA, LEED AP. “By attaining registration, Danton has solidified his commitment to the architectural profession and to our clients. We congratulate him on this achievement and look forward to his continued contributions to the firm.”

Spina holds a Master of Science in Architecture from California Polytechnic State University and a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University. Since joining Cope Linder in 2014, he has worked on projects including the Residences at Two Liberty Place, Residences at Two Liberty Place Penthouse, Borgata Hotel Spa & Casino, and the W and Element Hotels.

Danton’s extensive experience with theatrical design shapes his sense of interactivity and spatial flexibility in architecture. In college, he founded Warehouse Architecture Theatre, an award-winning group for which he continues to produce and perform in New York and Philadelphia. He has designed sets for theater and theatrical gaming, and has spoken on the topic of “gameful” architecture at DesignPhiladelphia and the Harry Potter Conference. He’s also active in the Philadelphia Theater Alliance.

In addition to his project roles, Danton volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and participates as a mentor on the Cope Linder ACE Mentor Program multi-disciplinary team.

Cope Linder Architects has built a culture of design excellence through strong client relationships and professional team partnerships.
