West Side Lofts in Red Bank Takes Home ‘Grand Community of the Year’ Award
Woodmont Properties, one of New Jersey’s leaders in development of luxury apartment communities, has been honored with 22 Awards of Excellence at the Metropolitan Builders & Contractors’ 32nd Annual Banquet.
The evening’s most esteemed honor, “Grand Community of the Year” was awarded to Woodmont Properties’ West Side Lofts, a mixed-use community located in Red Bank, N.J.’s burgeoning Arts and Antiques District.
West Side Lofts offers a mix of one- and two-bedroom finished lofts, two-story townhomes, and three-story live/work maisonettes with private roof decks all within walking distance to New Jersey Transit train station. The community also features a stunning rooftop lounge and outdoor deckwith hot tub, fire pit and barbeque grill and 13,000-square-feet of shops including West Elm and the Triumph Brew Pub.
Woodmont Station at Cranford received the “Community of the Year” award and was named “Best Rental Community.” The community features one-, two- and three-bedroom luxury apartments and plentiful luxury amenities including a clubroom with resident lounge, cyber café, “bark park” and indoor pet spa. The community is within walking distance of the Cranford train station and the downtown, offering residents convenience and luxury while maintaining the charm of the Cranford.

Woodmont Station at Cranford: Best Rental Community over $2,000 per Month, Best Clubhouse for a Community, Best Specialty Feature Room for a Community, Best Sales Office for a Community, Best Logo for a Community, Best Internet Site for a Community.
Individual leaders from Woodmont Properties were also recognized at the banquet, including: David Gallagher, named “Project Manager of the Year”; Gloria Obermuller, named “Leasing Consultant of the Year”; and Libby Manicone and James Charlot, named “Leasing Team of the Year.” Additionally, Gloria Obermuller, Kathy Lombardo, Dawyne Stecker, Rebecca Weick, Carolyn Marino, Tara Samuel, James Charlot, Libby Manicone and Devyn Giannone were all included in the “Leasing Excellence Club”.
Winners were chosen by a panel of independent judges, each of which came from outside the organization’s six-county area, in four categories: Builders (new construction), Remodelers, Associates (tradespeople and professionals) and individual achievement awards.
“Our members are the best at what they do in this part of the state,” said Metro President Philip Calinda Jr. Calinda won two awards. “When you look at the skill, imagination and attention to detail, you see that our members do the job the right way.”
