Michael V. Madden
The Joseph Fund, a Camden-based nonprofit organization, recently announced the addition of Michael V. Madden of Haddon Heights to its Board of Trustees.
As a board member, Madden will help to guide the work of The Joseph Fund, a fundraising entity dedicated to supporting the missions of six Camden organizations that provide educational opportunities, permanent housing solutions for lower-income individuals and solutions to end homelessness for those willing to receive a hand up.
“We’re pleased to welcome Michael to our board as he represents a new generation of South Jersey philanthropists who will help guide and grow our organization,” said Jim Catrambone, executive director, The Joseph Fund. “His professional work experience as an attorney, along with his commitment to serving the community will greatly benefit our organization.”
Madden is a Partner with Madden & Madden, P.A. - a Haddonfield-based law firm focusing on all aspects of civil and commercial litigation, land use and real estate, and estate planning and administration. Madden practices primarily in the area of civil litigation and represents clients in personal injury matters as well as in the defense of employment related claims.
Madden is an active member of the New Jersey State Bar Association serving as the Chair of the Executive Committee of the Civil Trial Section. He is a trustee of the Camden County Bar Association, the Camden County Bar Foundation and is an active member of the Burlington County Bar Association.
Madden is a former board member of the South Jersey Young Professionals Association (SJYPA), South Jersey's largest and most dynamic organization of charitable young professionals. He is one of the original architects of SJYPA’s annual Halo Ball, which raises funds for local nonprofits.
Madden earned his J.D. from Vermont Law School and his B.A. from St. Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont. He resides in Haddon Heights with his wife, Elizabeth, and his two children, Macie and Hattie.
