Matthew P. Faranda-Diedrich
Royer Cooper Cohen Braunfeld LLC (RCCB), a law firm offering a distinctive combination of practical business acumen, legal expertise and entrepreneurial passion, today announced the addition of Partner Matthew P. Faranda-Diedrich, who will be joining the firm’s litigation practice.
Faranda-Diedrich joins RCCB after spending the first ten years of his legal career at Philadelphia-based Dilworth Paxson. A 2006 cum laude graduate of Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law, Faranda-Diedrich became partner at the age of 30 and was a member of Dilworth’s Litigation Department and Co-chair of the Plaintiff’s Rights Practice Group. Faranda-Diedrich was also recognized by the Legal Intelligencer as a “Lawyer on the Fast Track,” and Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Magazine named him a “Rising Star” consecutively from 2012-2016.

A business attorney in the truest sense, Faranda-Diedrich was attracted to RCCB because of the founders’ emphasis on empowering the ambitions of the firm’s clients, lawyers and staff. Faranda-Diedrich regularly counsels a broad base of clients, from individuals, start-ups and early-stage ventures, to national and multinational Fortune 500 companies, in a wide variety of matters, including litigation strategy, corporate advice, insurance coverage and defense, transactional guidance, outside general counsel and buy/sell transactions.
The addition of Faranda-Diedrich further strengthens RCCB’s growing litigation team, which continues to increase in number and scope of services. Faranda-Diedrich will be working closely with Barry Cohen, who leads the Litigation Group at RCCB.
“Matthew’s impressive early career speaks for itself, and his entrepreneurial mindset and forward thinking approach make him an ideal fit for RCCB,” said RCCB Partner Barry Cohen. “Matthew is a distinguished addition to our growing litigation practice and also brings the transactional expertise and business acumen that our clients value in every member of the RCCB team.”
Faranda-Diedrich is eager to work for a dynamic, growth-stage law firm that offers a full scope of legal services to address the needs of his existing and future clients. RCCB’s philosophy aligns with Faranda-Diedrich’s, in that RCCB attorneys provide counsel to their clients and do not merely transact legal services. Faranda-Diedrich will continue to bring his brand of legal counsel and looks forward to collaborating with the attorneys at RCCB to help solve problems and seize opportunities for the firm’s clients.
“Joining RCCB’s multi-disciplinary team presents my clients with a deep bench of talented lawyers who bring a business focus and sensibility to the practice of law,” said Faranda-Diedrich. “RCCB has built a unique platform which, in the years to come, will continue to be on the cutting edge of what it means to be counsel in today’s rapidly changing world, and I look forward to this next chapter in my career.”
Faranda-Diedrich will work out of RCCB’s Philadelphia office.
