Lee & Associates of Eastern Pennsylvania has brokered a full-building lease with DNA Motoring for 300,700 square feet of space within 839 Railroad Avenue, a Class “A” warehouse situated in Florence Township, New Jersey that is expected to be completed before mid-year. Tony Rod, SIOR, Brian Knowles, SIOR and Patrick Lafferty II, each Principals with Lee & Associates of Eastern Pennsylvania represented the landlord, Black Creek Group, and Scott Mertz, SIOR, President of NAI Mertz Corporation represented the tenant in this transaction.
Headquartered in California, DNA Motoring provides a range of products serving the automotive and trucking industries including exhaust systems, lighting components, radiator and cooling systems and miscellaneous parts such as running boards and hitches. This represents the third state for distribution centers in the United States for the company, joining facilities in Texas and California. DNA Motoring expects to take occupancy of the building this summer.
Situated on 31 acres of land, 839 Railroad Avenue is equipped with 36-foot ceiling heights, 37 door doors, two grade level doors, and parking areas that accommodate 354 cars and 118 trailers. The column spacing of the layout is 50’ by 54’ and the office space will be built-to-suit to the tenant.
The building is adjacent to NJ Route 130 and is located less than one mile from Interstate 95 with immediate access to Interstates 276 and 295 and the New Jersey Turnpike. Philadelphia is less than 30 miles from the site, the Ports of Wilmington and Elizabeth are approximately 60 miles away and New York City can be reached in 70 miles.
