Maris Grove’s Sales Counselors Lindsey Bonaventure and Kimberly Janson host a weekly morning talk show to discuss various goings-on at the community

Online meeting platforms are bringing families and friends together in creative and unexpected ways—including a weekly talk show hosted by two sales counselors at Maris Grove, the Erickson Living-managed community in Glen Mills, Pa.

Lindsey Bonaventure and Kimberly Janson got the idea after they held an online event for priority list members last fall.

“We took our members on virtual tours of available apartment homes, some amenities, and other parts of our beautiful campus,” says Bonaventure. “The feedback was so positive, Kimberly and I decided to turn it into a weekly talk show on Zoom.”

Getting to know Maris Grove

Every Wednesday at 9 a.m., the pair host “Mornings with Maris,” a fun, fast-paced review of goings-on at the community. They share games, contests, news, tours, and stories of interest to priority list members considering a move. Janson says the show is the ideal way to showcase the “new normal” at Maris Grove, which includes activities, amenities, and safe social interactions.

“When viewers see that life here is safe and engaging, they want to be a part of it. They feel isolated in their houses and miss the sense of community that residents have here.”

Bonaventure agrees. “Viewers tell us that it has motivated them to move here sooner, because they know they can remain safe and still enjoy an active, engaged life. We’re actually receiving more requests for tours and information because people know their quality of life will be so much better here than remaining in their house.”
