UNITS Storage and Service Centers relocating to 905 Lambson Lane
Lee & Associates of Eastern Pennsylvania has brokered a lease with UNITS Storage and Service Centers for 36,000 square feet of space within 905 Lambson Lane, a 77,600 square foot warehouse/industrial building situated in New Castle, Delaware. Owned by SC Herman & Associates, Inc., the asset is part of a three-building business community comprising nearly 200,000 square feet of space. Eric Zahniser, Vice President of Lee & Associates of Eastern Pennsylvania represented the landlord and Justin Soss, President of Karmar Realty represented the tenant in this leasing transaction.
UNITS works with both consumers and businesses to offer short and long-term mobile storage solutions and is currently operational in more than 500 cities across the country. The company delivers a ready-to-pack storage container to a home or business and, once filled by the customer, retrieves the container for placement in a secure, climate-controlled facility. The storage units are available in either 12 or 16-foot options.
The three-building Lambson Lane business community is comprised of 901 A &B Lambson Lane offering more than 81,000 square feet of space; 901 C Lambson Lane featuring 40,000 square feet of space and 905 Lambson Lane totaling 77,600 square feet of space. The assets feature ceiling heights ranging from 24 to 26 feet, dock and drive-in loading door facilities open layouts and direct access to a heavy rail transportation system serving the Mid-Atlantic region. Approximately 40% of the population of the United States can be reached within a one-day truck ride from the site.
The Lambson Lane portfolio is situated approximately one mile from the Port of Wilmington and is less than two miles from Interstates 495 and 295 as well as Route 13. Interstate 95 and Route 141 are less than four miles from the site. More than 800,000 people reside within 30 minutes from the business community, with a daytime workforce of more than 600,000 within that same radius.
