Shonti Tager
Wisler Pearlstine, LLP is pleased to announce that Shonti Tager has joined the firm as an associate, resident in its Newtown Office. He joins the Firm’s Real Estate, Zoning and Land Development Team, which is chaired in the Newtown Office by Edward Murphy.
Shonti comes to Wisler Pearlstine after serving a term as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Thomas W. Sumners, Jr. in the New Jersey Superior Court’s Appellate Division. A 2019 graduate of Rutgers Law School, Shonti was elected to serve as Editor-in-Chief of the Rutgers Journal of Law & Public Policy and he also served as an executive board member to both the school’s chapter of the National Lawyers Guild and its Black Law Students Association. A Mercer County resident, Shonti is a member of the Philadelphia, Mercer County and Bucks County Bar Associations. He received his undergraduate degree in Communications with an emphasis in Journalism from Southern Oregon University (B.A. 2009), where he was a linebacker for the school’s Football team. After college, Shonti worked as a reporter, anchor, and producer for local television stations in South Dakota, Georgia, and South Florida.
