Simone Development Company’s 385 Prospect Avenue in Hackensack, NJ Achieves 97% Occupancy

Simone Development Companies, a leading investor and developer of medical office and healthcare properties throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, announced Hackensack Meridian Health has signed a new long-term lease of 5,111 square feet of medical office space at 385 Prospect Avenue in Hackensack, NJ, bringing the property to 97 percent occupancy. The building’s last remaining spaces are comprised by two 1,100-square-foot medical offices on the ground floor.

The lease was arranged by Josh Gopan, AVP of Leasing for Simone Development Companies and Patrick Eichner of Avison Young.

Simone Development Companies undertook a multi-million-dollar renovation after acquiring the property in 2017. The repositioning of the building included new lobbies, common areas, façade work and energy management upgrades, bringing the asset up to the quality standards Simone is known for throughout its portfolio of medical office properties. Situated on 1.6 acres, the property offers parking for more than 200 vehicles as well as valet parking.

The property also offers excellent accessibility to Interstate 80, Route 17, Route 4, the Garden State Parkway and Interstate 95/NJ Turnpike.
