With the General Election less than two months away, the Young Lawyers Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association, through its LegalLine program, will provide advice to voters to ensure that their votes count. On Wednesday, September 16 and on Wednesday, October 7, licensed, trained lawyers will be available each evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm to receive calls from residents and advise them on how to check their registration status, how to register, deadlines for registration, how to apply for an absentee ballot, how to track the status of a mail-in ballot and more.
“As citizens, we have a fundamental right to elect our representatives and exercise our voice through the vote. The Philadelphia Bar Association Young Lawyers Division is delighted to provide this free call-in program as a service to inform area residents of their rights,” said Hillary Ladov, Esq., 2020 Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division.
Area residents can call LegalLine at 215-238-6333. For more than 25 years, the Young Lawyers Division’s LegalLine program has provided residents with free, quick and accurate legal advice during convenient evening hours.
