The Philadelphia Eagles have announced that Tico Sports, a division of Tico Productions, will own the exclusive rights to the team’s Spanish language radio broadcast as part of a new multi-year agreement beginning in 2020.
Through the new broadcasting deal, all Eagles preseason, regular season and playoff games will air in Spanish on Philadelphia 105.7 FM, Atlantic City 101.3 FM, Vineland 103.3 FM, the Eagles Official Mobile App, PhiladelphiaEagles.com and NFL Game Pass. The broadcast will be called by legendary and long-time play-by-play announcer, Rickie Ricardo, and color analyst William Kulich.
“We look forward to a long-standing and productive partnership with Tico Sports,” said Brian Papson, Vice President of Marketing, Philadelphia Eagles. “We are grateful to have such supportive and passionate fans in our region’s Spanish-speaking communities and beyond. This collaboration with Tico Sports presents a great opportunity for us to further engage with and grow our diverse fan base and bring them closer to our team.”
“We are excited to partner with such an innovative team like the Philadelphia Eagles,” said Oscar Monterroso, Partner and Executive Producer, Tico Productions, LLC, and Tico Sports. “The new agreement represents our strategic path to expand our footprint as a third-party, multi-media solution for professional sports teams that seek to increase engagement with a community known for loyalty and a love of sports.”
