Colliers' Rapid Response Back-to-Work Navigator Helps Tenants Navigate an Evolving Path

7/13/20

Colliers announced the launch of Work Forward » Together,a comprehensive program aimed at delivering enterprising real estate solutions to both investor and occupier clients throughout the transition back to the workplace.

Back-to-Work Navigator, a customizable, fast and affordable service offering of the Work Forward » Together program which provides a 48-hour turnaround analysis and recommendations to achieve readiness for people to come back-to-work has become a game changing tool in assisting clients to navigate the path back to work safer and faster.

The service is simple: a team of Colliers workplace strategists perform an initial intake via video tour of tenant space, asking questions about the firm and operations. Next, the team analyzes workplace improvements across 5 key areas: design, technology, navigation and communication, behaviors, hygiene and cleaning and produces a tailored report with recommendations based upon the tenant’s unique scenario, CDC data, Colliers global insight and research, as well as local regulations. Recommendations are provided along with estimates of associated costs to deepen understanding.

This hallmark of this service is a 48-hour turnaround time that gives decision makers the insights and answers they need, fast.

“Regardless of work environment — from manufacturing facility to lab or leased office space — it will be important to customize planning to meet the specific needs of your situation. Our commercial real estate experts build custom workplace solutions to help occupiers and investors proactively prepare their space for a safe and healthy return to the workplace.” shared Doug Sayer, President and CEO of Colliers in the Philadelphia Tri State region.
While Philadelphia moves ahead into the Green Phase of reopening, it comes amid pullbacks in other states nationwide and a threat of a Coronavirus second wave locally.

“For those who may still be struggling with a plan to re-open their office space safely and efficiently or could be second guessing an original office reopening plan against the recent surge in cases – we strongly advise taking advantage of the Back-to-Work Navigator to get quick expert recommendations built upon our local, national and global awareness of occupier responses worldwide and customized to you. It’s affordable, designed to put expert advice in your hands, and quick. This is a tool that applies to family owned business on up to global corporations.” shared Tim Pulte, Senior Executive Vice President of Colliers’ brokerage operations in the Philadelphia Tri-State region.

As more and more clients reopen their workplaces, Colliers has gained a deeper understanding of how to tailor these services to fit the current unique circumstances. As a result, new tools and enhancements to Work Forward » Together have also been incorporated since its launch, relevant for both occupiers and owners/investors:

  • Quick-Hit Portfolio Analysis. Assessing a portfolio’s occupancy, current market conditions and other key performance indicators, the analysis provides suggested adjustments to an established portfolio strategy.
  • Property tax appeals can greatly reduce real estate costs, which may be particularly helpful during times of economic uncertainty or decline. A high-return, low-risk solution for investor and occupier clients with owned property. If an actual property tax reduction is not achieved, no fee is charged.
