Bayer expands portfolio with addition of first New Jersey property

Birmingham, Alabama-based Bayer Properties has been engaged to handle leasing and property management for Marlton Square, an 87,000-square-foot lifestyle center located in Marlton, New Jersey.

The retail destination boasts a lineup of notable retailers and restaurants including Trader Joe’s, Ethan Allen, Bluemercury, Starbucks and Carlos’ Bakery.

“We were interested in expanding our portfolio into the New Jersey market given its proximity to our mid-Atlantic office in Newtown, PA” said Libby Lassiter, president of Bayer Properties. “This center is very well located, and we look forward to utilizing our local and national expertise to further evolve the merchandising mix by securing additional best in class retailers. In keeping with our company mission to create places people love, we will also explore property improvements to enhance the overall experience for guests and the surrounding community.”

Marlton Square is situated within an affluent, three-mile radius in the Evesham Township of Burlington County, just off Route 73 and Route 70.
