New Jersey casinos are being allowed to reopen on July 2 at 25% capacity.
The governor is releasing additional safety and health guidelines in the next few days.
Atlantic City casinos have been closed since March 16.
Casinos in the state include Caesars Atlantic City Hotel & Casino (NASDAQ:CZR), Tropicana Atlantic City (NASDAQ:ERI), Bally's (NYSE:TRWH), Golden Nugget (owned by Landry's), Harrah's (CZR) and Borgata (NYSE:MGM).
