Suburban Propane Partners, L.P. (NYSE:SPH), a nationwide distributor of propane, fuel oil and related products and services, as well as a marketer of natural gas and electricity, today delivered the first batch of 1,000 pizzas along with Baltimore Orioles-branded, limited-edition cans of Pepsi to MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, MD, the as part of its SuburbanCares platform, which provides assistance in communities it serves across the nation.
For each of the first 1,000 pizza orders placed with the promotional code GIVEPIZZA at any of the 160 participating Papa John’s locations in the D.C. Metro area and Maryland, Suburban Propane is donating one large, one-topping pizza to healthcare workers at MedStar Health hospitals throughout the area.
The company has also partnered with Jersey Mike’s Subs to deliver meals to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ; with Aurelio’s Pizza in Chicago, IL to provide meals to a nationally-ranked hospital in downtown Chicago; and with Chick-fil-A in Syracuse, NY to provide meals to frontline workers at Crouse Health.
