Pennsylvania drivers can now take their driver’s license test at Fred Beans Volkswagen of Devon through John’s Driving School, a PennDOT-Certified 3rd Party Testing Center and the state’s largest driving school. Appointments are available for testing on or after Friday, Dec. 20, to obtain a Class C Non-Commercial Driver’s License. Call 215-295-8014, or the local number for Devon customers at 610-209-8269.
This is the second testing location to open this year through a partnership between Fred Beans Family of Dealerships and John’s Driving School. The first opened July 22 at Fred Beans Nissan of Doylestown, and customers have noted the convenience of reviewing vehicle purchase options immediately after passing their exam.
“Both companies value customer service, so our relationship evolved out of a desire to better improve our customers’ experiences,” said Jason P. Fidishun, president/CEO of Fidishun Insurance & Financial and John’s Driving School & Auto Tags. “We are simply giving our customers more options to choose a testing location that best accommodates their schedules. The fact that we have opened two locations where they can also shop for a vehicle is an added benefit.”
John’s Driving School was among a small group of third-party businesses authorized by PennDOT in 2016 to administer the Class C Non-Commercial Driving License Skills Exam to Pennsylvania resident permit holders who have met the criteria to obtain a license. The company aims to schedule Pennsylvania drivers for an exam in as little as 48 hours after they call for an appointment.
