In a transaction arranged by CBRE, Romark Logistics has committed to a 249,853 sq.ft. industrial lease at 145 Talmadge Road in Edison, New Jersey. The company, which specializes in e-commerce fulfillment, omni-channel distribution, reverse logistics and many other facets associated with the supply chain, will be expanding its operations at the property owned by New York Life Insurance Company.
Scott Belfer of CBRE represented Romark Logistics in the lease negotiations. The CBRE team of Scott Belfer, Nicholas Nitti and Lou Belfer acted on behalf of the ownership.
“When the space became available, it was being offered as a sublease,” notedScott Belfer, senior vice president, CBRE. “Working closely with ownership and the previous tenant, we were able to structure a long-term solution for all of the parties involved. Romark was able to take advantage of the existing infrastructure that was already in the building and expand its operations near its other warehouse, fulfillment and distribution facilities in the Edison market.”
Built in 1972, 145 Talmadge Road is ideally located near I-287;the New Jersey Turnpike; Garden State Parkway; Routes 1, 9 and 27; and minutes from Newark Liberty International Airport, Trenton Mercer Airport and the Port. The 656,255sq.ft. facility boasts 28-foot ceiling heights, 27 tailboard doors, one drive-in entrance, 40-foot-by-40-foot column spacing, refrigeration space and solar power for reduced electrical costs.
