Avison Young Welcomes Five New Additions to New Jersey Office

Latest additions to growing New Jersey office include two Project Accountants, a Director of Construction Management, a Senior Project Manager and an Administrative Coordinator

Jeffrey L. Heller, Avison Young, Principal and Managing Director of New Jersey, announced the company is welcoming real estate professionals Harley Brooks, Caroline Morris, Tony Bienert, Gabriel Miani, and Katie Sherman to its expanding Project Management team.

Both Brooks and Morris join as Project Accountants while Bienert joins as Director of Construction Management. In addition, Miani will join as Senior Project Manager, and Sherman as an Administrative Coordinator. These five new hires continue to build on the company’s remarkable growth and presence in the Tri-State area.

Harley Brooks joins Avison Young after a successful run as Project & Account Analysis Manager at Barnes & Noble’s College. She will support Avison Young’s New Jersey and New York project management billing and related accounting functions. Brooks holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Caroline Morris brings over 10 years of experience, working for multiple industries such as property and auto insurance and engineering. She will support Avison Young’s New Jersey and Boston project management billing and related accounting functions. Morris holds a Bachelor in Communications and Marketing from Kennesaw State University.

Tony Bienert has over 25 years of experience in construction and joins Avison Young after a successful run as Project Manager for Hollister Construction where he managed several high-profile projects. In his new role as Director of Construction Management, Bienert will be responsible for overseeing construction and project management for commercial and industrial projects.

Gabriel Miani is an experienced project manager with over ten years of experience and joins Avison Young after serving as Capital Projects Manager for Hudson View Gardens where he managed large scale infrastructure projects as well as provided budget & regulatory guidance, conflict resolution, and master plan development. Miani holds a Bachelor in Civil and Structural Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.

Katie Sherman will be working as Administrative Coordinator and joins Avison Young after graduating with the honors from College of Saint Elizabeth, where she completed a Bachelor in Business Administration.
