Mi Casita, Philadelphia’s first Spanish immersion preschool, is excited to announce they will be opening their second Pennsylvania location in Ardmore by January 2020. The school will be open year-round, enrolling children ages three months to five years. Mi Casita Main Line is currently accepting applications and is expected to reach their full capacity of 100 students by late spring 2020.

Mi Casita, which means “my little house,” is one of the only preschools in the country to implement project-based learning (PBL). This education style focuses on engaging students through real-world problem solving, with the goal of developing critical thinking and communication skills. PBL, combined with complete Spanish immersion, creates a truly unique and enriching learning experience at Mi Casita.

“I’m excited to grow our Mi Casita familia and bring the first Spanish immersion preschool to the Main Line,” said Melissa Page Peter, founder of Mi Casita. “At Mi Casita, we are proud to serve a diverse community of families. What most parents don’t realize is that they don’t have to speak another language for their children to experience the full benefits of a Spanish immersion education!”

Mi Casita will be hosting two free information sessions for interested families on Wednesday, July 10 and Tuesday, July 23 at 5:30 p.m. at Lulu’s Casita in Ardmore. Parents can meet founder Melissa Page Peters and while their children play and explore at Lulu’s Casita, located at 6 Cricket Ave, Ardmore, PA 19003.
