Newmark Knight Frank (NKF) announced today that it has been retained by Commonwealth Academy to secure a new location for the school.
Located in Alexandria, VA, Commonwealth Academy (CA) is a co-educational college preparatory day school serving students grades 3-12. CA’s students have average to gifted intelligence and diverse learning styles and benefit from small class sizes and an interactive hands-on teaching curriculum. The school is celebrating its 22nd year anniversary and is a pre-eminent leader in providing educational resources and a learning environment for students around the region to succeed.
“Commonwealth needs additional classroom, administrative, meeting and recreational spaces to meet the demand for the school’s excellent offerings,” said Lisa Benjamin, Newmark Knight Frank. “The school is interested in purchasing four to six acres on which it can build a new campus or in purchasing or leasing a 50,000-75,000-square-foot building adjacent to open space or athletic parks in Alexandria or Arlington.”
Executive Managing Director Sally Wilson and Senior Managing Director Lisa Benjamin are representing CA.
