CBRE today announced that it has hired eight new associates as the firm continues its aggressive push to expand its retail leasing practice in the greater Philadelphia region. The eight new retail specialists include Andrew Belcher, Toni Bonitz, Alex Chojnowski, Maria Dalessandro, Patra Konugres, Andrew Landolfi, John LaPrise and Rob Thompson.

Andrew Belcher will serve as an associate working alongside Brian Bruzek and Jim Creed. Andrew graduated from Temple University Fox School of Business with a degree in Marketing & Supply Chain Management.
Toni Bonitz will work day-to-day with Rick Weinberg and Steven Gartner. Toni is a 2017 graduate of Penn State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education and a minor in English and Communications.
Alex Chojnowski joins CBRE as a retail associate working with Adam Kohler. Prior to CBRE, Alex worked at Hennion and Walsh as a financial advisor. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Economics at Rowan University’s Rohrer College of Business.
Maria Dalessandro will work with Adam Kohler focusing on the leasing of lifestyle centers, shopping centers and upscale mixed-use projects. Prior to joining CBRE in 2016, she was a residential real estate agent for three years. She also previously worked for Resource Real Estate in Philadelphia as their Tenants in Common 1031 Exchange Director. Maria is a graduate of SUNY Oswego, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Journalism.
Patra Konugreswill work closely with team members Rick Schuch and Gary Leone and focus on tenant representation in both Center City, Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs. Patra joined CBRE in 2015 as a client support specialist and gained experience working with brokerage teams to expand multi-market and multi-service occupier accounts. Patra is a graduate of Drexel University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Design and Merchandising, with a Minor in Marketing.
Andrew Landolfi will work alongside Matt Mandel and John Krause specializing in restaurant and retail real estate. Andrew joined CBRE in 2017 as a researcher focusing on industrial and suburban office leasing. He is a Delaware County native and 2016 graduate of Lafayette College where he was a member of the baseball team for four years.
John LaPrise will work in partnership with Adam Kohler and Brian Bruzek. John recently graduated from the University of Virginia and spent three seasons playing minor league baseball for the Dunedin Blue Jays.
Working alongside Matthew Gorman and Michael Shover, Rob Thompson will focus on the sales of single and multi-tenant net lease properties throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Prior to joining CBRE, Robert graduated from Dickinson College in 2018, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and was captain and an all-conference performer on the Red Devil baseball team.
In addition to the eight new retail associates, CBRE recently hired industry stalwarts Ken Bleznak and Nicole Johnson.
