CBRE today announced that retail specialist Nicole Johnson has joined the company’s Philadelphia-area offices to serve as Senior Vice President. In this new role, Nicole will partner with Jeffrey Cohen and Nelson Wax, where she will focus on landlord representation and project leasing for shopping centers and mixed-use developments.

“In today’s environment, protecting and enhancing the value invested in multi-tenant retail centersis a critical landlord need not fully served by most brokerage teams,” said Johnson. “Our team’s relationships with retailers, extensive renovation and conversion experience, and ground up project leasing background will allow us to fully represent retail landlord clients better than the competition. In addition, our team’s experience extends beyond retailing.As more projects become mixed-use, our team plans to utilize our senior living, medical occupier and residential relationships to further enhance value for landlords and developers,” Johnson added.

Prior to joining CBRE, Nicole served as the Vice President of Retail Leasing at Paramount Realty Services, where she managed the leasing department for 30 portfolio properties totaling five million sq. ft., including power centers, lifestyle centers and neighborhood centers across five states in the Northeast.

Throughout her career, Nicole has represented some of the most prominent landlords in the region including Kimco Realty, Urban Edge Properties, National Realty Corporation and Steiner Equities Group, among others.

Nicole earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Denver. Outside of work, Nicole enjoys gardening, biking and traveling as often as her schedule will allow.
