Thomas Snyder and Matthew Troiano

Einhorn, Harris, Ascher, Barbarito & Frost, PC is pleased to announce that Thomas J. Snyder and Matthew James Troiano have been recognized by the New Jersey Law Journal with Professional Excellence Awards.

Snyder, who is a partner in the firm’s Family Law group, has been honored as a Mentor. The Law Journal looked for attorneys who teach others through mentorship programs or simply as good leaders and guides. For more than 25 years, Snyder has devoted his practice exclusively to family law matters including alimony, child support, custody, parenting time, grandparents’ visitation, equitable distribution and domestic violence cases. He is an active member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, and a member and past chair of the Family Law Executive Committee for the Family Law Section.

“Tom maintains a rigorous case load and makes it a priority to put the needs of Einhorn Harris’ younger attorneys first by actively mentoring them in the early stages of their careers,” said Patricia M. Barbarito, co-managing partner of the firm.

Troiano has been named a “New Leader of the Bar.” According to the editors of the Law Journal, the list recognizes attorneys yet to reach the age of 40 who bring both notable achievements and outstanding potential to the table. A former Morris County Chief Assistant Prosecutor, Troiano came to Einhorn Harris last year to chair the Criminal Practice Group which is dedicated to addressing the needs of clients facing very serious consequences.

He is well known throughout the State for his successful prosecution of many high-profile murder cases. During his prosecutorial career, he successfully tried many jury trials in the New Jersey Superior Courts, including murder, aggravated manslaughter, aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, kidnapping, aggravated assault, robbery, burglary, weapons, drugs and domestic violence-related crimes. He has also appeared before the Appellate Division of the New Jersey Superior Court and is recognized by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Certified Criminal Trial Attorney.

“Beyond his impressive resume,” said Barbarito, “Matthew distinguishes himself by his devotion to each case and each client.”

She added, “We commend both Matthew and Tom on earning these awards from the Law Journal.”

This year’s honorees will be recognized at the Professional Excellence Awards event on June 12, 2019 at the Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park, NJ.
