CBRE announced that PhotoShelter, a website designed to help professional photographers manage and organize their business, signed a 23,306-square-foot lease at 111 Broadway in Manhattan’s Financial District. The company will relocate its offices from Union Square to the entire 19th floor of 21-story property, also known as the Trinity Building, beginning in May 2019.
CBRE’s Brad Gerla, Adam Foster, Michael Rizzo and Adam Leshowitz represented the owner, Capital Properties, in the deal, while NKF represented the tenant.
“111 Broadway made perfect sense for PhotoShelter. The 23,000-square-foot full floors are laid out perfectly for creative tenants and provide tremendous natural light and air,” said CBRE’s Gerla. “Additionally, the property is located above the 4/5 Wall Street subway stop and is also within walking distance to the Fulton Transit Hub, which are all prerequisites for today’s TAMI tenant.”
Hani Salama, EVP of Capital Properties, continued, “We have meticulously upgraded 111 Broadway over the years. The most recent renovations included the installation of new windows and improved lighting outside of the building, complete with energy efficient LED lights that can be programed to change colors for holidays and during special events.”
Built in 1905, 111 Broadway is a 460,000-square-foot office building located just south of Zuccotti Park, between Trinity Place and Broadway. 111 Broadway is a short walk from the Fulton Street Transit Center, which provides access to 11 subway lines and to the PATH trains to New Jersey.
