Hutchinson was recently presented with the highly coveted Associated Builders and Contractors’ (ABC-NJ) 2018 “Subcontractor of the Year” award at the 2nd Annual Excellence In Construction Conference and Expo held at the Borgata Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City.
The “Subcontractor of the Year” award recognizes Hutchinson as an outstanding subcontractor for HVAC services, energy solutions, plumbing and maintenance. The “Subcontractor of the Year” award is given to subcontractor members in good standing that demonstrate teamwork, an excellence in craft and quality service.

At the event, Hutchinson was also presented with the ABC National Platinum Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) Award which recognizes companies that are on a continual road map to world-class safety performance. ABC’s STEP serves as a safety benchmarking and improvement tool in which participants measure their safety processes and policies on 20 key components through a detailed questionnaire. As a platinum awardee, Hutchinson is certified to be 400% safer than the construction industry average.
