Someck, Myers and Pisacane nearly double the office space for the law firm known for its technology industry clients with a new 4,455-square-foot lease
Dennis Someck, Executive Managing Director/Principal, Justin Myers, Executive Managing Director/Principal, and Alex Pisacane, Associate, of Lee & Associates NYC have arranged a 5-year, 4,455-square-foot lease on the fifteenth floor at 183 Madison Avenue, between 33rd and 34th Streets, for the office of ZwillGen PLLC, a legal practice known for counseling leading Internet and tech companies and advising them on their high profile online legal issues. The Washington, D.C.-based firm also has offices in Chicago and San Francisco.
The New York City team is relocating from 232 Madison Avenue, between 37th and 38th Streets, where their office was housed in 2,300 square feet of space. Their clients include Airbnb, Equinix, FanDuel, GoPro, Electronic Arts, Twitch and Zynga, among others.
“On a daily basis, ZwillGen deals with issues such as data protection, information security and law enforcement surveillance, all of which are very relevant topics right now,” explains Mr. Someck, whose leasing team represented the tenant. “As a result, they needed to almost double their office space and 183 Madison Avenue was a perfect fit for their needs.”
APF Properties purchased 183 Madison Avenue in the summer of 2018 and in this transaction, the company was represented by Andrew Sachs, Timothy Gibson, Brittany Silver, Spencer Perl and Josh Gosin, all from Newmark Knight Frank. ZwillGen will take occupancy on the fifteenth floor of 183 Madison Avenue on April 1, 2019. Asking rent was $72 per square foot.
