Investment and wealth management firm expands footprint into Florida market

The Glenmede Trust Company, a privately-held and independently owned investment and wealth management firm with $40 billion in assets under management (AUM), announced today that it has formalized plans to open a new office in West Palm Beach, FL, the firm’s first office in the state. The new office will operate under the leadership of Howard (Chip) Wilson, Executive Director of Relationship Management at Glenmede.

“Florida remains a prominent market for Glenmede, with many existing clients residing in the state on a full-time or seasonal basis,” said Wilson, who will serve as regional director of the Glenmede Florida office. “By formalizing our presence in the region, we deepen our commitment to serving the changing needs of current clients and also steadily grow the number of new relationships that will naturally result from our on-the-ground presence.”

Glenmede currently works with a strong network of local Florida-based intermediaries and industry professionals. The decision to open an office in Florida reflects an anticipated growth in demand for services in the region, given recent tax law changes, a growing economy and shifting needs of current and potential clients.

The office, expected to open in early 2019, will serve clients in wealth planning, investment management, impact investing, and trust and estate services and will be located at 222 Lakeview Avenue, Suite 1160. The opening of the Florida office expands Glenmede to eight offices nationwide.
